Since 2 days ago, I started to apply for apparments IN LAUSANNE, those super nice with less than 1000 chf is not REALISTIC! I get confirmation emails, with requirements like payments w western union to France, and several reasons THEY WROTE: like getting a job to France need to leave immediately, or I see your motivation, I aceept your application....they ask you to pay with WESTERN UNION!!!! WHO THE HELL THESE DAYS USE WESTERN UNION??!!! Think about it, and it is in France?!!!! I 've read articles about this ONLINE FRAUD CRIMES, like from Nigeria or whatever on internet! I have no proof of this, but all I am doing here is : WARNING YOU!!!! There are many scandals to ask you pay to somewhere you never get ur money back, and not even give you the key, telling you you get it later after signing contract and paid them in cash in advance. BE AWARE!!!!!
I was super excited since I got several emails at the same time to confirm that I can visit and sign contract. Then I was thinking and feeling that things get tricky here - how this could be so urgent and POSSIBLE?!!!!
I started to talk with my family and friends, they also think it is suspicious.
So don't pay IN ADVANCE, THE BEST IS if it is appartment, at least a BANK ACCOUNT a REAL NAME , this is the minimum. Also don't give your ID copy (They asked me as well).
In all, pls send this msgs around or tell your friends, all i want to say is: it was scaring for me to receive yesterday 3 emails, 2 ask me to contact the same person, and all were pushing me for signing contract or pay already!
Pls circulate this Msg! Be careful, thoes who are looking appartment in lausanne! I just saw anotehr student published another blog just before me that he got the same experience in Genf! omggg
