A wound like many others

but this one's mine.

It's deep and bleeding hard

the beautiful colour of wine.

Tears they shimmer in the darkness

I'm gasping for air.

Looking up to the pale moon

wishing you were still there.

..

It's cold, the snow has fallen

silence in the valley of death.

A white coat covering the place

where you took your last breath.

..

I was here with you

dancing through the fire at night

embracing the sin, loving with our souls

running away from day and light.

..

Distant whispers wake me in the night

the seep into my dreams

cause every tear I cry at night...

..

We lived our dream

never felt regret

silence was our theme

I will never forget.

..

But it has gone away

I can't sleep.

Curled up on the floor

I lie and weep.

..

I'm wet and cold

the snow covers it all.

I will stay here with you

until the snow stops to fall.
